My name is Rodney. First, thanks for visiting the blog, I hope you find what you're looking for here. I am a husband, a father, a friend, and a follower of Jesus Christ. I am passionate about filling each and every one of these roles to the best of my ability. I believe that it is the last role, that of being a follower of Christ that can & will alone, enable me to achieve the rest.
I also believe strongly in the type of community that scripture models for us and it is my hope that this blog will serve to initiate such a gang, online and in person. The kind that encourages, lifts up, has compassion, shares joys & pains, and sometimes even.... holds accountable. (Gasp) In the end, I hope that the time you spend here will give you confidence, courage, and contentment to be exactly who God says you are and to do exactly what He says you can do.
I don't profess to have it all under control, or to have every 'demon' in my life contained, in fact that will likely be the root of a majority of my posts, my mistakes and what I've learned from them. What I have to offer you is ancient biblical truths that can be practically applied to modern day life. Simple. Timeless. Truth.
